Face to Face
We aim to meet with our advisors at least four times a year. We achieve this through five key events scheduled throughout the year.
Annual Conference
- Held in September in Wisconsin, this action-packed two-day conference offers both in-person and online attendance options.
One Office Visit Per Year
- This may include audits and training sessions, with a focus on dedicating one-on-one time with each advisor to strengthen our partnership and achieve mutual success.
Summer Regional Meetings
- We visit regions with clusters of advisors to host informational meetings and social events.
Holiday Parties
- During the holidays, we travel to regions with clusters of advisors to spend one-on-one time, occasionally conduct audits, and host advisors, spouses/partners, and support staff for enjoyable social gatherings.
January Tropical Trip
- Everyone is welcome to escape the winter weather and join us for a week in paradise! Our top producers can earn production credits toward the trip. Every three years, the entire family including children are invited. In January 2025, we’ll be heading to Jamaica with 160 attendees including advisors, their spouse/partner and families.
Expanded Partnership Initiatives
Advisory Board
- In 2019, Harbour established an advisory board comprised of nine advisors from our system to provide guidance, support, and a platform for brainstorming and collaboration.
Peer Mentoring
- In 2022, five members of Harbour’s Advisory Board took the initiative to form a peer mentoring group. Since then, each of these advisors has doubled their production. Not only did they support each other, but they also developed a program for other advisors to follow, which was launched to all advisors in 2024. By January 2025, approximately 40 advisors will have joined our peer mentoring program.
- Harbour’s women advisors have established a group that meets twice a month to exchange ideas and discuss experiences unique to being women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Call First
- Harbour encourages all advisors to reach out directly with any questions, whether it’s about filling out paperwork, designing a case, or even support with hiring an assistant.
